MISSION STATEMENT

The purpose of the UC Irvine Medical Education Simulation Center is to provide state-of-the-art medical education using simulation technology and to promote superior clinical care and patient safety. The innovative educational programs of the UC Irvine Medical Education Simulation Center will enhance the leadership, knowledge, teamwork and technical skills of physicians, nurses and other health care professionals which will positively impact the residents of the Southern California region and beyond. The research programs at UC Irvine Medical Education Simulation Center focus on the assessment of performance and competency using simulation technology.
